Hola a todos, esta es la primera vez que tengo que realizar una consulta en este foro, ya que siempre que he tenido alguna duda, la he encontrado resuelta por aquí. También os quiero felicitar por lo completa que es la página. Bueno, sin más peloteo paso a explicaros mi problema.
Tengo un ordenador Packard Bell modelo Legend 9074, Pentium 4 2.00 GHz, con 1 Gb de RAM. Le puse una tarjeta PCI con 5 puertos USB 2.0 modelo ALI PCI to USB M5273, y aquí es donde empieza el problema: recibí junto con la tarjeta un CD con los drivers, y creo que instalé los correctos, pero cuando conecto un dispositivo a la tarjeta, siempre me sale el mensaje: "Este dispositivo podría funcionar más rapido. El dispositivo puede funcionar más rápidamente si lo conecta a un pueto USB 2.0 de alta velocidad. Haga click para ver una lista de los puertos disponibles". Si hago click en el globo me aparece esto: Concentrador USB genérico es un dispositivo de alta velocidad que funcionará a velocidad reducida al ser conectado a un puerto que no es de alta velocidad. Y debajo aparece un despeglable donde en la primera fila pone "ALI PCI to USB Enhanced Host Controller", justo debajo "USB Root Hub (6 puertos) y debajo una lista de los puertos disponibles
Una de las cosas que me mosquea de esto es que la tarjeta PCI sólo tiene 5 puertos (4 externos y 1 interno).
Se me ocurre que la podría ser porque la placa base no está preparada para este tipo de conexión, sino sólo para 1.1...no lo sé, es lo único que se me ocurre. De todas formas, por si acaso, añado las características de mi placa base, por si el problema puede venir por ahí

Os agradecería que me ayudárais, ya que el disco duro externo es USB 2.0, lo tengo conectado a uno de estos puertos, y cada vez que tengo que grabar una peli, aunque la grabadora es 48x, tarda una eternidad. Ah! también os diré que el resto de los puertos USB que tiene el ordenador son 1.1
