Linux 768 ram, 1.7ghz tarjeta sonido 5.1 ice1724.
hola a todos el problema es que instale un subwoofer y en windows se escuchan las 5 cornetas + el woofer, pero en linux solo escucho 2 cornetas. Entonces mi pregunta es como puedo configurar mi tarjeta 5.1 enm232-6via, icesemble vt1720/24 de encore para poder escucharlas todas pues como saben en guindos en panel de control puedo cambiar de 2.1 channels a 5.1. Como lo puedo hacer en ubuntu 9.10?
yo modifique o edite el archivo sudo gedit /etc/pulse/daemon.conf
y en dnd decia
default-sample-channels puse 6 en vez de 2,
reinicie con sudo gedit /etc/init.d/pulseaudio restart
pero ni modo sigo escuchando solo 2 cornetas.
intente configurando la bios poniendo en features setup > audio devices > disabled a enabled y alli ingresando de nuevo a karmic en system>preferences>sound en perfil y si sale la opcion 5.1 output pero nada de nada. solo 2 channels.

La opción de gedit /etc/asound.conf y asoundrc no me funcionan en karmic, desconozco el porque, no lo se habilitar. sale esto
