hola he tenido varios problemas con esta maldita ventana de search settings 1.2 he corrido varias veces el norton antivirus y hay ocaciones en las que desaparece el problema. Pero este vuelve cuando windows me pide hacer actualizaciones. AYer en la noche que ya no tenia el problema al cerrar windows me salio el icono de que ahay actualizaciones al lado del boton rojo para apagar el equipo y hoy que me he metido a vuelto a aparecer esta ventana de search settings 1.2 Corri de neuvo norton y sigo con el problema ya me baje hijackthis y esto es lo que me ha salido. cierra todos los programas, navegador incluido, ejecuta hijackthis pulsando do a system scan only y marcas las siguientes entradas:

pulsa fix checked, sin reinciar busca y borra la siguiente carpeta y su contenido (habilita la opcion de ver archivos y carpetas ocultos). si alguno no se deja usa killbox o unlocker, o ambos
C:\Program Files\Search Settings
reinicia tu pc en modo seguro con conexiones de red y pasa algún antivirus actualizado on-line
descarga y actualiza los siguientes programas y los vas pasando uno a uno, un par de veces cada uno:
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.3
Spyware Doctor 6
Regcleaner
Spybot
cwshredder.exe
ad-aware
SUPERAntiSpyware
Ccleaner (limpiar temporales y registro)
